Resilience Trumps localization?

One topic was the evolving conversation around localization.

A few years ago, the focus was on reshoring and bringing production closer to home. Today, the discussion seems to be shifting toward something broader: resilience.

Many OEMs aren't simply asking, "Can you produce locally?" They're asking:

• Can you reduce supply chain risk?

• Can you offer alternative sourcing options?

• Can you help us navigate disruption?

Localization can be part of the solution, but resilience appears to be the larger objective.

As supply chains continue to face geopolitical, economic, and operational uncertainty, the ability to adapt may become just as important as where production happens.
